Treharris

Today, Samuel like very ter-buru-buru want to show the 2020 Trade Plan to Marcus like that...Samuel mention that some mapping is incomplete, Marcus then said to Samuel to submit on Wednesday...but Samuel insists Marcus to go through today wor...then, I also learn from Mr. Horton's Secretary,...dengan muka temboknya...I menyelit masuk when Samuel start to run through with Marcus...hahaha...then, Marcus also ask Mr. Horton's Secretary to submit homework as well, I stand there until Mr. Horton's Secretary email over to Marcus...lucky got cc to me, if I didn't stand there, I sure no received one...then, all of us went through together...hahaha...

Marcus came out from the meeting and ask me whether the 2020 Trade Plan mapping is ready or not...errr...why suddenly ask me one...why not ask Samuel & Mr. Horton's Secretary directly? Pening oh pening...

Usk

Rupa-rupanya...the one who sabotage me is Mr. Horton's Secretary! Celaka betul! Mr. Horton's Secretary label the slides CANCELLED. Mr. Horton's Secretary admit it...but did not give any reasons for doing so...sigh...and no apologizing at all...

And for unknown reasons...when Marcus sends out the sales commentary deck...my last slides...the bottom half is wrong...then, I went to the folder. Inside the folder, there are 2 slides; with 1 label CANCELLED. And this cancelled one is the one that have the right slides. The one Marcus send over is wrong. Sigh...who sabotage me now? Samuel? Mr. Horton's Secretary?

On the 2020 Trade Plan...Marcus email out to the department secretary; to fix a discussion appointment with Lord Alfonso...the cc names in order are: Mr. Horton's Secretary, Samuel & myself...sigh...don't know for what reason, my name is at the bottom pula...maybe Marcus knows that I am not good at doing this mapping thingy...and the big chuck of work will be done by Mr. Horton's Secretary & Samuel...both of them will contribute much...while I give little or no contribution at all...I admit, thus the credits must be given back to them lor...

I overheard this...Samuel wants to brief Heidi on something...Heidi dengan bergayanya replied back Samuel that Heidi is not free, talk later...hahaha...I find it very disrespect of Heidi...but is also shows that Heidi is not naive; Heidi indeed know how to push away things...Heidi also do not see Samuel as a senior...I think Samuel also bengang...and maybe feel embarrassed...

RULE 10: Develop The Right Attitude

At work a lot of people have a sort of “us and them” attitude. They like to side with the “workers” and moan about the “management.” You, on the other hand, will develop the right attitude and not become one of the “us” mentality. No matter what your position now, you are the next head of department, an embryonic chairman of the board, a budding managing director. You have to start to look at both sides of a situation and identify the position of “them.” You may not voice this and may even, in public, appear to side with your fellow workers and colleagues. But deep down, in your heart, you understand and side with “them.” Never forget that. Your colleagues may moan about management policy, but you will analyze it and try to see it from their point of view. To fit in and blend you may be tempted to adopt the camouflage of a moaning worker—not a wise move. Nod in agreement, but don’t moan yourself.

The right attitude is twofold:
1. You side with management and see policy decision from their point of view.
2. You devote your attention to becoming a total and committed Rules Player—you look out for Number One (that’s you).

The right attitude means giving it your best shot, not just today but every day. Not just when it’s easy but when it’s awful as well.

The right attitude means going that extra mile, giving it that extra effort even when you’re tired and pissed off and ready to quit. Others can quit, but you can’t. You’re a Rules Player. The right attitude is head up, never moaning, always positive and upbeat, constantly looking for the advantage and the edge.

The right attitude is developing standards—and sticking to them. Being sure of your bottom line and knowing when to make a stand. The right attitude is being aware that you have enormous power and that you will exercise that power with kindness, restraint, humanity, and consideration. You won’t put anyone down or be ruthless or manipulative. Yes, you may take advantage of others’ sleepiness or apathy or wrong attitude—that’s their problem. But you will take the moral high ground and be blameless. The right attitude is being good but quick, kind but observant, considerate but successful.

YOU WILL TAKE THE MORAL HIGH GROUND AND BE BLAMELESS.

Quieting The Critic

When we face bullies who criticize us for doing what God would want us to do, let's take our concerns to God in prayer, instead of reacting out of stress.

Ask God to protect you from discouragement.

Lord, grant me the strength to do what pleases You, even in the face of criticism. I trust You to be my best Protector & Defender.

Called By Name

Indeed, God knows all His children by name. This means He knows each of us uniquely, cares for us personally, and has plans for us individually.

Then, I also notice that both Samuel & Mr. Horton's Secretary quietly discuss among themselves about the 2020 Trade Plan...tak ajak I pun...sigh...then, after Mr. Horton's Secretary have left the office...I saw Samuel approach Marcus on the 2020 Trade Plan...hmm...nampak gaya, macam want to show off what Samuel have already done, and steal a bit of the limelight from Mr. Horton's Secretary...if the both of them gaduh-gaduh...or uncomfortable with each other...alamak, I am damn jahat now...hahaha...cannot, let's compete on an equal level of playing field; fair & square...
