Family Events
This year, we have 4 family events…getting together as a unit…all of them were with my mother’s side of the family…my father’s side is a bit rare these days as we hardly travel up to Penang anymore and the rest of the clan are in Perth.
So, besides the customary CNY get together…we play host to our relatives in our new house in Section 7. A house warming luncheon. Finally, it can fit everyone in. Previously our old apartment in Section 6 rarely has such visitation because it was small in size…it will be cram, no breathing space and is hard for everyone to climb up the stairs to the 5th floor.
Then in July…as fifth aunty is recovering from her cancer, we have a get together at Kepong for her thanksgiving dinner.
The following month; which was August…we meet up once more in Kota Kemuning to celebrate Emilie’s birthday party.
