God’s plan is always better than our own. We can fight against it and resemble a misplaced weed. Or we can accept His direction and become flourishing, fruitful plants in His garden. He leaves the choice with us.

Lord, please forgive us for those times when we act as if You have planted us in the wrong place. Help us see what You have for us to do today.

Dealing With Delay

Delays can often produce anger & frustration, but as followers of Jesus, we have the privilege of looking to Him for help.

One of the Bible’s great examples of patience is Joseph, who was sold to slave traders by his jealous brothers, falsely accused by his employer’s wife and imprisoned in Egypt. But while Joseph was there in prison, the Lord was with him. Years later, when Joseph interpreted Pharaoh’s dreams, he was made second in command in Egypt. The most remarkable fruit of his patience occurred when his brothers came to buy grain during famine. I am your brother Joseph, he told them, the one you sold into Egypt. And now, do not be distressed and do not be angry with yourselves for selling me here, because it was to save lives that God sent me ahead of you…so then, it was not you who sent me here, but God.

In all our delays, brief or long, may we, like Joseph, gain patience, perspective, and peace as we trust in the Lord.

Father in heaven, in all of our delays may we trust Your faithful hand of guidance and experience Your presence with us in every situation.

By The Spirit’s Power

What do we do when there is a mountain before us? We have 2 options: rely on our own strength or trust the Spirit’s power. When we trust His power, He will either level the mountain or give us the strength & endurance to climb over it.

My Help!

My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of Heaven & Earth.

Stability around the clock care, constant presence and protection & preservation from all kinds of evil for time and eternity.

Do you feel alone, forsaken, abandoned, confused? You’re not alone, so don’t try to do life on your own.

Rather, rejoice in the earthly and eternal care of God as demonstrated in the life, death, resurrection and ascension of the Lord Jesus Christ.
And whatever the next steps, take them with His help.

Able & Available

God is readily and faithfully available wherever and whenever I need help!

When it feels as if we’re surrounded by chaos or everything we thought was stable crashes down around us, we don’t have to fear. God doesn’t falter.

The Lord, our secure stronghold, remains with us forever.

Lord, thank You for assuring us You’re always accessible because You’re always with us.

God is always Able & Available to help us!

Duke of Cádiz

THANK YOU GOD, PRAISE TO THE LORD, BLESS YOU GOD!
Masih ada lagi rezeki…God, You are indeed Good!

I have an expat role (hypermart/supermarket/specialty retail/emerging SE Asia country) to replace an expat leaving who is handling "houseware, furniture, stationery, toys" – What is the scope of your current G13 work & are you able to work abroad?

Dear J___, I have an expat role (hypermart/supermarket/specialty retail/emerging SE Asia country) to replace an expat leaving who is handling "houseware, furniture, stationery, toys" Looks like you have handled many of these types of categories - are you able to work abroad? Note: They can offer salary (paid in USD) + basic expat benefits like benefits like housing, local transpo, insurance reimbursements and flights, but usually NO school fees for any kids as this is for an emerging market here in SE Asia and there's a long waiting list for the too few and expensive international schools. I'm also a Murdoch Univ grad - maybe we have met at an alumni function here in KL BUT its been awhile since I have been to one.

Courage To Be Faithful

Do not be frightened.
The Bible reminds us that sometimes we will suffer for doing what is right.
We are told not to be frightened but to revere Christ as Lord in our hearts.

When we make the decision to honor Christ, He will help us to be bold and to overcome our fears in the midst of opposition.
Father, give me boldness to stand firm in difficult times.

Not Enough?

Sharing is hard. It is easier to hold onto what we see in front of us. Perhaps we do the calculation and reason there is simply not enough for everyone. And the assumption is that if I give, I will be left wanting.

Paul reminds us that all we have comes from God, who wants to enrich us in every way so that we can be generous. The math of heaven isn’t a calculation of scarcity but of abundance. We can share joyfully because God promises to care for us even as we are generous to others.

Father, You take good care of me.

Of Spiders & God’s Presence

Scripture repeatedly reassures us God is always near but sometimes we struggle to believe it. Perhaps that’s why Paul prayed for the believers in Ephesus to have strength and power to grasp that truth. He knew that when we’re frightened, we can lose track of God’s proximity.

Lord, thank You for always being close by.
Please give us strength and power in our hearts to remember You are near, You love us deeply and we can always call out to You.

Buckling Up

In seasons of turbulence, going to our Father in prayer is the best thing we can do!

Praising Through Problems

Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?

For most of us, praise is not our first response to difficulties. Sometimes the pain of our circumstances is so overwhelming, we lash out in fear or anger. But God is still present, still good. He will help us through hard times.

*Indeed God has. I can let go now…noted, that there will be times where I will feel small, inferior, useless...but God will fix me up again.

Lord, prepare me for the times when praise is most difficult to utter.

Duke of Camiña

We have to co-exist peacefully…we have to work as a team…we have to complement each other…hahaha…I must not feel bitter & sour whenever Mr. Horton’s Secretary step a gear up or being and acting smarter & wiser than me…thank God, I no longer have those feelings anymore…I’m very stupid isn’t it…so what if Mr. Horton’s Secretary level up…why I feel so worked up by it...why I feel so bad about it...I should not even worry at all...God has Grand Plans for me…God have the solutions to all of my problems…I have God’s blessing, favorability & love…God mention that no enemies weapon form against me shall prosper…Mr. Horton’s Secretary want to compete, want to level up, want to rival…let her be…God will show me the way…

The Advance Team

Even in the midst of our own dark hours, we can trust Him to lead us forward to a place of goodness.

As we walk with Him, we too will learn to trust increasingly in His faithfulness.

Help me, Lord, to lean on You when my life feels uncertain and hard.

You are Trustworthy & Good!

We can trust God to lead us through difficult times.

Duke of Canalejas

The buyer in us (Marcus & myself) are very much alive…hahaha…what happen was…the Aussie Operation Director gave some inputs regarding the promo space…so don’t know whether this Area Manager dengar salah ke…misinterpret ke or what…came and brief us on the changes…so in the midst of all of this…we convey the message to the Merchants…we did not get alignment with Sir Thomas…then Sir Thomas disagree pula…and the Aussie Operation Director denied the whole issue…

In our busyness…both Marcus & I did not pause and think strategically…we also babi buta bull doze through…we must always get alignment and have a firm stand point…excuses are not acceptable…so what Marcus is busy preparing for the Leadership Meeting…so what I am busy preparing the press ad results reporting, preparing for the slides presentation for the Tuesday S&M meeting, preparing the daily press ad sales breakdown…excuses, excuses, excuses...so, I have to improve from now onward…whatever message or inputs that are being put across…must have alignment…lesson learned!

Trust Me

Do not worry about tomorrow.

My Lappie is sick…can kaput anytime from now on…

I learned to trust God for my daily provision.

Faithful Father, thank You for knowing exactly what I need before I even ask.
God supplies all our needs – one day at a time.

Uncle Andy commented that this Marcus is very hardworking, humane, honest and straight forward…I’m also the same…but with a dash of sassiness and mischievousness…hahaha…

Duke of Arevalo del Rey

Yes, I am being very selfish here…I'm the green-eye monster...I admit…that is also because Mr. Horton’s Secretary started it first…Mr. Horton’s Secretary doesn’t share with me anything…I also not aware that this Uncle Jack RTE is running a promotion as well…so, all of the supplier’s self-funded press ad…I also ignore Mr. Horton’s Secretary lor…you share, I also share…you make it discreet, me too…don’t know whether this Marcus notice or not…I think both Mr. Horton’s Secretary and I acknowledge this little discreet rivalry of ours…because both of us also want to shine…hahaha…
