Boring! Boring! Boring week!
I have been lazy – didn’t accomplish much this week; which annoys Celtic to the max! I just love that irritated look. All the lines, all the grumpiness that appears. My instincts could be wrong as I may interpret this context differently but I certainly feel that Celtic sees me as a threat. I don’t know. Celtic’s behavior and intentions are very hard to read. I dare not bring out this issue with Seth yet – knowing that Seth will protect & defend Celtic to the end. They are that close. And I doesn’t want our friendship to be strained either. I try not to take it personally so I won’t get upset that much but there is always a line. And Celtic has crossed that line many times. The people here are not united and I don’t want to make it worst (ok - it is worst already). But I do need to show Celtic some colors…and also my evil twin :)
I have 2 farewell parties coming up in the next few weeks. It’s really sad – I’m here barely a year and I have already attended 6 farewell parties. That’s the norm, I guess for this industry. But the place is getting too crowded and there is a great difficulty to compete in this market because it’s a volume game. The winner is the one who has the highest bargaining power at the negotiation platform. The positive outlook is that it’s actually challenging and very enriching professionally but the stress – it’s tremendous. But it’s a good venue to invest in oneself. If I were to go back to this nature of work – I would rather pick a niche segment. I am going hunting this weekend! :)

Wild Wild West

The last 24 hours has been like this:

I dance till I drop :) The Others left early, leaving me on the dance floor with Ping, Tommy, Nikolai, Thor, Lucius, Joachim and Boss plus many more familiar faces that I dance with. We had a great time boogie-ing to all the great tunes. It’s good to see so many kaki clubbing around. Boss was like…WOW! Impressive!

We screwed up our performance because we lost our count. But it’s ok because we have fun doing it. What was disappointing was when Guillermo decides to pull out the very last minute. I feel that it lets the whole team down very unfairly. Wonder if its Aurora’s idea?!

Guess what I won for the Lucky Draw? I got an Impact Drill! A drill! What am I going to do with a drill?! I’m giving it away to my Pa. If only my number 62 were good enough for me to win the SONY Plasma TV or the RM6,000 cash…why a drill? :)

Liverpool beat MU 1-0! Woo Hoo!

Orange Sorbet

Tonight M13 will be having its annual dinner with a Country & Western Theme at the Grand Blue Wave Hotel. The team is all gear up to perform and party all night long :) Of course, there is always someone who is not sporting and snobbish enough to refuse to participate with us. Who else but dear Aurora! Even Boss, Guillermo & Joachim who sees us as pest also joined in to show a united front to The Director. We will be line dancing on stage and Aurora will be sitting at the table all alone. What a nice picture! :)

Work has been tough this week – all of my energy is being channel in making sure that the Big Brand Mailer meets its deadline. Volumes, Sales and Contributions are so nightmare-ish. And to make things worst – I have a very annoying BUG who keeps on interfering and intruding into how I get my work done. Celtic always has something to say about everything I do. I love being friends with Celtic but a working relationship; I don’t think this can go far. I find Celtic can nags a lot. Tommy sees it as being emotional, irrational and immature at times. Not a proper way to conduct oneself with all those shouting and screaming especially in such a position. Celtic is so pessimist, so much of negative energy – it makes me feel very unhealthy. I need to do my hunting more seriously right now :)

Hob Nob

My mind has never been this crystal clear – I have decided; firmly that once my traineeship expires, I would like to try out something new. But before that, I would have to hunt around – maybe I should go back to my roots :)

Spoken:
Don't look at me

Every day is so wonderful
And suddenly, it's hard to breathe
Now and then, I get insecure
From all the fame, I'm so ashamed

I am beautiful no matter what they say
Words can't bring me down
I am beautiful in every single way
Yes, words can't bring me down
So don't you bring me down today

To all your friends, you're delirious
So consumed in all your doom
Trying hard to fill the emptiness
The piece is gone and the puzzle undone
That's the way it is

You are beautiful no matter what they say
Words won't bring you down
You are beautiful in every single way
Yes, words won't bring you down
Don't you bring me down today...

No matter what we do
(no matter what we do)
No matter what they say
(no matter what they say)
When the sun is shining through
Then the clouds won't stay

And everywhere we go
(everywhere we go)
The sun won't always shine
(sun won't always shine)
But tomorrow will find a way
All the other times

We are beautiful no matter what they say
Yes, words won't bring us down
We are beautiful no matter what they say
Yes, words can't bring us down
Don't you bring me down today

Don't you bring me down today
Don't you bring me down today
