Sigh...missed opportunities...well, I was away, on leave...was in Osaka, Nara & Kyoto...that will be another blogging story...I think I have missed out on the opportunities of ideas discussion on the HouseBrand with Lord Alfonso and also the Batu Caves store visit...

Batu Caves store visit - I know Marcus went, but not sure whether the other 2 of Samuel & Mr. Horton’s Secretary get to go or not...if I was around...I would have volunteer myself...

On the HouseBrand, what happen was...our sister company in Singapore was doing some EDLP & massive display thingy...so Lord Alfonso drop both Marcus & myself an email...when it comes to promo space, it ter-trigger me...therefore, I wrote an email back to Lord Alfonso...stating that we should do things not in such an impromptu way...should have a proper planning & organizing; should come out with a major umbrella campaign to drive sales & footfall...then align it back with Digital, Events, Leaflet, Press Ad, Sampling, Space & etc...Lord Alfonso did mention to me that we should have a discussion...but I was away...adoi...now that I have come back...I think Lord Alfonso also totally forgotten about it already...alamak...

What happen was...ini cerita Peggy lagi...hahaha...she invited me to join her team in a meeting that she chair with Supply Chain. Stock availability issue, store zerorizing the orders, P-stock or Promo pack ordering etc...so, Peggy wants to lead a new simulation of ordering by forecasting by sku, by store...she insisted in doing this exercise for the coming Ramadhan leaflet. I gave another suggestion; which to my surprise... 2 of her CMs agreed and no objection from the rest...and Peggy also commented that it was a good idea...hahaha...I suggested, to use the coming HBA catalogue...look into the brands that you have concern with; map back to the Top 20 stores...HBA items are very small...they do not have or rarely have feature promo space exposure in the Main Highway or in the Middle Highway. New item, P-stock, Promo pack - please indicate in the Product List. Ease the Supply Chain. There are just too many sku...yes, all these should be done by the system, but let's face the reality...we have system limitation but we need to get things moving forward...hahaha...

I am also learning, whatever the inputs that comes on board, I fine-tune it...yes, it is very small, maybe insignificant for others...but these are the small details that completes the bigger picture of things.

See, this Mr. Horton’s Secretary mengada-ada again…my territories…now she makan in…I jaga Promo Space & Press Ad…so yesterday; we visited a local retailer; checking out their Hari Raya presentation…this Mr. Horton’s Secretary sibuk pula…tangkap all the gambar…and report back to Marcus…and just now also…Press Ad; the English advertise in the newspaper and extend their promotion price for the Whole Chicken; also highlight to Marcus…fine; I am not going to retaliate…because the best revenge ever is to live a good life…wei, this Mr. Horton’s Secretary is really too much ok…building the trade plan calendar (which she already did in the earlier stages, now sambung balik upon Miguel & Jessica's request); she is already holding the total company calendar already…everyone will have to align to the calendar already…I already downgrade myself to the so-called operation, daily, routine, mundane, stagnant, backward kerja already ok…celaka she…

I am just holding tightly onto God's assurance when Lord Alfonso told me that Marcus likes me very much; therefore in the bonus & salary increment; Marcus awarded me with the highest marks among the 3 of us...

I was away for the past 8 days; 6 working days and 2 weekend days…so at work; majority of it…I hand it over to Samuel…Marcus also ask me in the first place; whether if I have any work that I can delegate to Samuel mah…so, I hand it over to Samuel lor…so, when I came back…Samuel told me that when Samuel was doing all of this…now all of the buyers know who is Samuel…so, nak rampas my periuk nasi now is it…hahaha…well, obviously Mr. Horton’s Secretary have secure her so-called analysis position in the department…even I though I am doing the tedious, coordination, compilation, stagnant, repetitive, mundane, cheap labor work…yes, I am being sarcastic here…hahaha…but it’s operational, functional & aligning everyone…it’s only Samuel…what is Samuel’s role here…it's yet to be seen...
