Hahaha...after meeting up with the new owners...we came out from the meeting room...The Digital Millennial WatsApp Aidan...what happen inside the meeting room...why Miss Chew come out...Miss Chew press the laptop keyboard so hard...from Aidan's perspective...Miss Chew also no change...as toxic as ever...hahaha...

I really don't deserve Aidan's kindness and generosity...but God indeed have position Aidan in such a way that Aidan really goes all out in helping me...

On that particular day, we were suppose to meet up with the new owners; sort of like a brief introduction...the HR Director proposed that Miss Chew comes along too which Aidan obligated. Aidan; being Aidan...a few hours before the meet-up...this Aidan went and have a casual chat with the new owners...not sure what was the content was...but pretty sure that Aidan was lobbying for me...

Nonetheless, during the meeting...the new owners also don't want to make that important call...they just see 2 individuals wrestling for the position...even though the new owners look at me more than Miss Chew...and task me with more things than Miss Chew...hahaha...

Hence, at the end of the day...Aidan; just blast out the WatsApp message to the new owners, to Miss Chew, to myself...Aidan really do not have to do this but Aidan did...that I will be the Transitional Lead, a pair of safe hands for now...

There we are...the 4 of us...I sat in the same row with the HR Director...across us was both Aidan & Miss Chew...I truly felt that both The Mayor and The HR Director want to wash their hands clean, don't want to make the final decision even though The Mayor (removing Miss Chew's name from the Team Organization Chart) is doing very subtly but not strong enough to send the message across to Miss Chew...hahaha...maybe, like Uncle Andy said...maybe this Miss Chew indeed come back with the red carpet treatment expectation, all of the dirty work have already been done by Aidan... 

Anyway, Aidan's justification was...Miss Chew went on a sabbatical leave, Aidan came down from Hong Kong - did a bit of a re-structure, change the way the team work & communicates, Miss Chew was away...not part of the reform...that was it...I can't exactly remember what Miss Chew replied back...something on wanted the job back...or waiting for the new owners call...

And when they turn and look at me - my reply was - since Aidan have hand it over to me, thus I see myself as the transitional lead for the time being, so...let the new owners to decide whether they want to put in their own people or want to give me a chance to lead...thus, tentatively, I see myself as a pair of safe hands...

Up till this point...things remains uncertain.

Even though, in the handover deck, The Mayor have remove Miss Chew's name...this information is for the new owners...

And during the Team meeting, The Mayor have mention that by default that I will lead...this information is for the Marketing Team Own Members...

But still...

Hahaha...indeed fated...so, all of the LTs have to sort of prepare a few handover slides to the new owners...Mayor; being mayor...very casual work...so The Mayor have tasked both Aidan and myself to settle it...of course, the both of us have put up the new team organization structure, the pending tasks etc...I have also requested that The Mayor put in the Nielsen 2022 Q4 Market Share as well...

So, here is the best bit...someone...or whoever...or what happened...a copy of the deck was printed out, in color and left it in one of the board room...and I manage to pick it up...hahaha...

Bloody hell...this Mayor is very lazy...The Mayor did not put in the Nielsen 2022 Q4 Market Share and only put in the Leaflet Promo timeline...haiz...but, this is the icing on the cake...The Mayor actually remove Miss Chew's face and name in the team organization chart...anything that is Marketing related, is to look for me...OMG...Aidan have put Miss Chew's photo in the Team organization chart and commented that Miss Chew have been away for sabbatical leave...both Aidan and myself was honest, sincere and provided an equal level of playing field...yet The Mayor...can remove Miss Chew just like that...so, does that mean The Mayor also acknowledge that I am the Transitional Lead?

Ooh...I am surprised that The Digital Millennial chose me over Miss Chew...Aidan informed me that I am not the preferred choice of The Digital Millennial but if to compare to Miss Chew...The Digital Millennial will opt for me instead. If Miss Chew were to take back the Marketing Head role...The Digital Millennial will resign...err...I find this a bit over the top...but according to Aidan; yes Miss Chew and The Digital Millennial do get along very well but sometimes The Digital Millennial also cannot stand Miss Chew as well. The Digital Millennial would much more prefer for a new face rather than Miss Chew...
