Spiritually Exhausted?

Emotionally, we've sometimes worked a full day in one hour.

Weighty emotions & responsibilities can leave us physically, mentally and spiritually exhausted. And all we want to do is sleep.

Sometimes we too need to be encouraged in the Lord. This may come in the form of a talk with another believer, a worship song, or time in prayer and God's word.

Feeling exhausted? Give your burdens to God today and be refreshed! He will carry your load.

Loving God, help me to turn to You when I am worn out. Thank You that in You I find rest.

What happen was...last week got Lion Dance in the office...Samuel ask me to welcome the lion...at first I decline, I push back...I say let Samuel & Mr. Horton's Secretary do it...they are the seniors mah...then, Samuel ask for the second time...so, I pun terima lor...usually, this will be reserved for the boss of the department to do the receiving of the Lion's blessing to ensure that the department will sail smoothly until the next new year arrive...Mr. Horton's Secretary diam aja...hahaha...anyway...I just want to ensure that the department to function as smoothly as possible, that is good enough...the hat is bigger than my head anyway...no one will take me seriously because I am such a big kid, no one will acknowledge me...my dressing pun satu masalah...charismatic pun tak ada...I am not a leader...I will lay low...

Uncle Andy said that Mr. Horton's Secretary wants to go back and jaga anak only...correct but this Mr. Horton's Secretary also want to have the acknowledgement & recognition. Uncle Andy commented that Samuel suka cakap only...betul...but behind it all, Samuel also have the ambition, probably the finishing is not there only...sigh...I am lazy already...I am so in my comfort zone, I don't want to learn, I don't want to change, I just want to retire, I am also fine with my current take home salary...I sudah lost the motivation...

Hmm...I am just very curious...what happen was, on Thursday & Friday - Lord Alfonso organized a 2 days workshop for the Trade Planning Team from Singapore, Indonesia & Malaysia...tiba-tiba; this Singaporean counterpart was asking about Mr. Horton's Secretary...eh...did Marcus promote Mr. Horton's Secretary...or did Lord Alfonso signal out Mr. Horton's Secretary in front of them? How come this Singaporean counterpart know about Mr. Horton's Secretary? Something is not right somewhere...or did the Singaporean counterpart already saw the new structure...hmm...ya mah...suddenly ask me about Mr. Horton's Secretary...something is not right somewhere...the name Mr. Horton's Secretary will not just pop up just like that...

So, Samuel not only voice out to me...but also to Lord Alfonso...Samuel tak mau buat Events, want to continue to do Trade Planning...sigh, making it more crowded...fine lor...but I thank God...when Samuel met up with Lord Alfonso...Lord Alfonso did not exhibit such body languages to me...apparently, when Lord Alfonso met up with Samuel...Lord Alfonso keep on looking at his watch; indicating that Lord Alfonso is very busy...Lord Alfonso did not reveal the upcoming structure to Samuel, but did give me a sneak peek and even told me who is leaving...so, I thank God that I have received a slightly favorable treatment than Samuel does...

This Samuel also another one...want to do Events...now, do events...pula complain banyak...this Mr. Horton's Secretary & Samuel semuanya serupa...want to do the big stuff...the significant work, the magnificent tasks where people will notice them...it's hard to work with people at that age group where they already have their own opinions...Samuel have voice out...want to do big events only...small small one don't want to do...I can see that Samuel tai chi out to Erin to follow-up...yes, they are small, they are trivial...they are thankless jobs...those are the unsung hero jobs...but if we don't pick it up...who would? And these are the small small things that meant so much to our customers and because of these small things as well, customers will leave...I really want to muntah darah already...
