No Line To Love

How comforting to know that our heavenly Father is so great that He's able to attend to each of us in the most intimate ways - even sustaining every breath in our lungs for as long as we live. He promise His people - even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you.

God always has time for us. He understands every detail of our circumstances - no matter how complex or difficult and is there whenever we call on Him in prayer. We never have to wait in line for our Savior's unlimited love.

You always have time for me, Jesus.
Please help me to live every moment for You!

Waiting With The Turtle

Perhaps it feels like you've been waiting forever for something to change - for a new direction in your career, for a relationship to be restored, for the willpower to break a bad habit or for deliverance from a difficult situation. The Psalmist are here to remind us to trust in God - He hears and He will deliver.

God, sometimes it's hard to wait. But we trust in You and Your deliverance. Please give us patience and allow Your greatness and glory to be evident in our lives.

Storm Chasers

In my experience, however, I don't have to chase storms in life - they seem to be chasing me. That experience is mirrored by Psalm 107 as it describes sailors trapped in a storm. They were being chased by the consequences of their wrong choices but the Psalmist says, they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and He brought them out of their distress. He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea was hushed. They were glad when it grew calm.

Whether the storms of life are of our own making or the result of living in a broken world, our Father is greater. When we are being chased by storms, He alone is able to calm them - or to calm the storm within us.

Thank You Father, that You're with me in my struggles and Your power is greater than any storm on my horizon.

Slowing Down Time

The secret to Time Management, therefore, isn't to go faster or slower. It's to abide in God, spending more time with Him. Then we get in step with each other, but first with Him - the One who formed us and knows our purpose & plans.

Our time on earth won't last forever. Yet we can manage it wisely, not by watching the clock, but by giving each day to God. As Mosses said - Teach us to number our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom. Then, with God; we'll always be on time, now and forever.

Bring What You Have

Jesus, help me to surrender whatever I have to You,
Knowing You can multiply little into a lot!

Where Are You Headed?

Big problems don't develop overnight. They break upon us gradually, one step at a time.
