...kemampuan Samuel also terhad juga ye...what happen was, the Black Friday and 11.11 event is coming soon...so, Samuel, Mr. Horton's Secretary & myself were having a brainstorming session lor...I thought that the both of them already aware of Commercial's limitations...but they seems so naïve like that...ok lor...bagi mereka try...they table it at the TPO meeting...Black Friday propose to do 50% discount and 11.11 do Buy 1 Free 1...terus kena shoot down by the Merchants...
In the end, I just inform Mr. Horton's Secretary...for the Black Friday - just do a deeper discount dive. For example Jacob Biscuit 700gm; Press Ad price is at RM9.90. When Black Friday comes, just do RM8.90 lor...then put a Black Friday mast head lor...settle...Black Friday have always been associated with appliances...we all retail just want to tumpang glamour only...
For 11.11 - still focus the regular key lines in our press ad to drive trade...but on the digital platform, can do Buy 1 Free 1 - inject a fun element into it. Get the impulse snacks, biscuits to do it...those categories have done it before and was quite good response geh...so, settle lor...my idea sometime can pakai kua...hahaha...
