Besides the red lantern, the lion dance, the pussy willow, the reunion dinner, the sound of the mercun - another thing that I like about the season is the stash of the Chinese New Year Cookies. It brought back so many memories of being a kid. Now as an adult, for this whole week, I have been snacking on this stuff until my belly is full and my cheeks are raw and red from all of the sugar and peanuts :) I feel bloated and heavy right now.
