I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. Far from being self-reliant, we are totally and eternally dependent on the One who died to set us free. Every day is our Dependence Day.
I need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord
No tender voice like Thine can peace afford
I need Thee, O I need Thee; every hour I need Thee
O bless ne now, my Savior, I come to Thee.
Our greatest strength comes from dependence on our strong God.
