Alpha & Omega

The Peak – while I was in Hong Kong, the team & I manage to grab a bit of our free time to visit Mount Austin or as the locals call it as The Peak. The mountain is located in the western half of the Hong Kong Island. With an altitude of 552 m (1,811 ft), it is the highest mountain on the island but not in the entirety of Hong Kong, an honor which belongs to Tai Mo Shan. It is a major tourist attraction which offers views over Central, Victoria Harbor, Lamma Island and the surrounding islands. The Peak remains an up-market residential area, although residency today is based on wealth. The weather was foggy, thus the pictures are not that clear. I try to adjust the camera settings and the above pictures are the best that I can captured. When we first arrive, the lights of the buildings & skyscrapers were not on yet, we waited till all the lights are lighted up and the view is indeed exciting and exhilarating. Everything was just so new and different! No wonder, people always said that the Hong Kong night view on a very clear day is a very grand sentiment :)
